Snippy Jackasses, Indeed

The Palins: “Powerful new symbols of a revived contemporary feminism”

The mountain of rubbish poured out about Palin over the past month would rival Everest. What a disgrace for our jabbering army of liberal journalists and commentators, too many of whom behaved like…

The Aftermath

Radley Balko lays it out nicely about the Paul campaign. It never really crossed my mind about the effect this will have on the new libertarians. But that’s because I think we’re a bit smarter than to not go digging for the real answers.

Paul is Dead.

To those few folks that read my blog, all the hyperbole posted regarding Ron Paul’s greatness could easily be perceived as me believing the man is infallible. Politically speaking, that wouldn’t be far from the truth. I’ve never agreed on as many things with a politician as I do with RP, let alone someone running for the highest office. He has the best message of them all and throughout his political career he’s shown that he stands behind his principles, however much he would actually have to mangle them if by some strange chance in hell he ever did become president.

Naivete aside, it’s nice to see someone, as Bono misapplied years ago, fucking up the mainstream. RP is scaring the Fox Newsites so bad that they’re (still) Drudgeing up any kind of garbage they can get on the guy. This, of course, on a day in which Paul is expected to finish relatively strong in the New Hampshire primary. Good to see his campaign staff is finally on the ball, too. The ABC debate Saturday was equally bittersweet. They pounded and mocked the man for using logic and stating the truth, their typical bullying no doubt dissuading many undecided NH independents from backing the GOP.
